Challenge: Sony required a single-pointed message to the TV industry that seamless digital solutions would not be achieved by the "one-size-fits-all" approach being proposed by competing manufacturers.
Solution: Starting with the idea of biodiversity, we introduce a concept that we call “Technodiversity.” By using the metaphor of the rainforest, we give broadcasters a reassuring message that digital systems will peacefully co-exist -- so purchasing digital equipment can be future-proof. The front-screen images are not “picture-in-picture,” but actually two independent video screens layered to create a holographic video experience supported by 10-channel surround sound. |
