Challenge: Convincing the international film, television and advertising communities to make the transition to component digital -- and discard analog technology in common use for 50 years to transfer millions of hours of film material to videotape.

Solution: Demonstrating that digital does things analog can’t. TV professionals know that the one color to avoid is “pure red,” because existing analog and composite digital media render it to what can only described as “total visual noise.” We created a product/technology infomercial that was a treatise on 'red', originating this 4-minute program in 35mm (in coordination with Kodak, Panavision and Sony) and directly transferring it to component digital videotape -- changing the de facto standard within the multi-billion dollar production industry.
